Meeting Tue 4th June 08

Major project 'topic' was agreed:
Interactive map which is hybrid between realistic (usual) map of London and abstract London tube map.
Why: to help people with orientation under the surface = provide connection between tunnel and surface; inform about what is above them
Who: people traveling at tube coach in London underground
Where: inside of the tube coach on the walls, sealing and the windows
What: digital screens, touch surfaces
What for: to provide useful information/direction/navigation

Tasks for each member until next meeting:
Sasha:
- idea development techniques research
- psychology - being underground
- ongoing project management
Taz:
- tech background research
- personas
- scenarios of current use
Funmi:
- interfaces difficulties
- accessability
Jophie:
- existing projects - navigation in the tube, other public spaces, gps, maps...
- issues of London underground
- publish the learning agreement on the blog

We agreed that Taz will financially support the project (with our help if possible), all expenses will be monitored by her and after the project devided by 4 and payed back to her.


Next meeting: Fri 6. 6. 08 at 11am at Sasha's

Agenda:
1. A quick point to agree:
For our meetings and where to have them I would suggest following:
- when there is any lecture or tutorial of any member of the team, the meeting would be held at uni
- when there is free day, the meeting would be held at Sasha's
- when it's weekend, the meeting would be online conference call on skype
- when it's weekend and the project requires personal meeting, it would be held at Sasha's.

Please keep in mind that next week we should already start making the product so we need to develop and finalize the concept this week as much as possible.
